The 555 setup consists of our new super short knuckle design that we had been testing over our years stay in Japan, and by back here. After all the testing, we have come to the conclusion that our 555 design is bordering on the maximum steering angle that stock suspension is capable of. Cut and shut knuckles are still used widely in the top level of driving in Japan due to the huge amount of feel/feedback you get from the stock positioning of the hub. We decided to create the super short knuckle design after being regularly at tracks like Meihan Sportsland & Bihoku Highland. Watching the top driving and entries there, taking a lot from the top drivers setups and over 3 years testing has left us with our final 555 KNUCKLE design. The ideal length of our knuckle design lets you make the car change direction a lot faster which is super important when doing fast snappy initiations and driving.
The 555 Lower Control Arm is:
- Lengthened 25mm longer than a factory S14 lower arms length
- Scalloped to allow the knuckle to travel into the arm for even more lock.
- Adjustable lock stop is added so you can tune the steering lock to suit your wheel setup.
- Laser cut gusseted for increased strength.
The 555 setup is available for S13, S14/15, A31, C33, C34 & C35.
