If there's one thing we recommend you do before you die, it's get to Meihan Sportsland during a Hitomi-GO/Looking track day.
If we have seemed a little quitely lately, you'd be right, and for good reason. Adam had taken a break to head back to Japan for a bit of a tourist trip. But no trip would be complete without meeting up with the boys at Mehian.
Good friend Shane from Stacked Inc. had lent us one car from his wild kei car fleet for the day. It felt so good to be back on the familiar Kansai roads heading out to the track.
All the usual suspects were in attendance, and as usual, we were greated by Naoki & Miki's cars sitting front and center.
No matter how many times you go back to Meihan, the level of driving will continue to amaze you.
You think last time you went they were going as fast as possible, flicking it as hard as possible or driving as close together as possible? Well you'd be wrong. Because I guarantee right now the locals will be driving it far harder than you have ever seen.
It's their constant and regular driving that keeps pushing there level of driving like no where else on earth.
Jesse & Shane both know this, and do their best to get behind the wheel as often as possible and on this trip, we could tell it had paid off.
Macey and Geoff are two other Aussies putting in as many hours as possible behind the wheel.
Shane was kind enough to give Adam a steer of his very familiar looking and super well setup yellow 180SX.
It's safe to say, our level is no where near where it was on the last trip. A clear indication that we aren't driving enough. This years goal is to change that.
A massive thank you to Shane from Stacked, Jesse, Macey, Geoff, Hiro, Naoki and everyone else we met along the way. Hopefully we are back again very soon.
