We are over the moon to say that we have partnered up with the legendary team at Demon Graphics coming into the 2013/14 D1NZ season. Adam and I spent weeks up late on the computers designing something sticker wise that would tie the colours of the cars together. In our heads we knew what we wanted, but getting that down on paper, and then onto the screen was always going to be difficult. After countless late and stressful nights of drawing and converting our ideas to vectors we finally nailed our design down to exactly what we wanted. The boys down at Demon Graphics have been pumping out some of the best vinyl work on NZ drift cars for years now and we knew that with our design finalized, we could now relax as the cars were in the best hands possible. With everything on the S13 now ready to go, we dropped it down to the Demon shop for them to work their magic.
After unloading the S13, we were welcomed with a bunch of vinyl sitting on the shop table. It was an awesome feeling seeing all the files, logos, colours and sizing that we had spent so long on, sitting printed out in front of us ready to go.
We had never really paid much attention to printed vinyl in the past and were blown away with the quality and crispness of everything.
From here, we left the shop and let Demon get busy with the S13 (thanks to Seth for these progress shots).
First up was the printed gradient tribal/flames/whatever you want to call them..
and then onto the double layer cut logos.
After dropping the car off sticker-less 2 days prior, Steve gave us a call to come down. You can imagine our excitement walking into the shop and being greeted by this:
After spending so long staring at a computer screen, designing graphics, tweaking colours, changing sizing and moving logos around it was a surreal experience having it come to life.
