K-Tours Osaka are drift tours run in the Kansai region of Japan run by Shane at Stacked Inc. and Erin at JDM Garage. In my opinion some of the best tracks in Japan are located in and around the Kansai region and without K-Tours, experiencing them would be next to impossible for most people. On this particular day the K-tour team was heading down to Bihoku Highland in Wakayama which was around 3.5 hours out of Osaka. I decided to tag along in the Skyline. We met up at a convenience store close to Shane's house early in the morning before making the hike south to Bihoku.
After a quick detour to sort a wheel issue on the R33, we were on our way.
Driving a drift car through Japans countryside is pretty amazing, which is another reason why a K-Tour was a pretty special thing for the guys.
This tour consisted of Shanes white R33 and S14 and Erins Osaka based S14.
Check the rear guard setup, Shane had molded in these genuine metal R33 GTR rear guards to the S14.
Bihoku and Meihan are by far the best tracks I have driven. After watching endless crashes at Bihoku in Option videos throughout the years, I was pretty cautious. But you get over that pretty quickly when you start having fun.
I chucked my camera up on a rock for a session on the afternoon and this time it didn't fall over mid session, so here are a few runs:
and packing up to head home. Driving 3.5 hours there, drifting all day and then driving 3.5 hours in one day required a lot of cans of coffee on the trip home.
