Jack and seat mounts
Managed to get some more work done on the s14 over the weekend. Finding the right size thin wall tube to fit over the airjacks was proving to be quite difficult, so i decided to cut a small section out of a piece of 2.5" tubing and stretch it open slightly to fit over the jack. I then welded the tubing between the two plates that i had previously cut. Then added some gussets. With the front jacks finished i moved onto the drivers side seat mount. Cut out some plates to weld to the body and fit two tubes between them. Made up some threaded bosses. Notched a couple of tubes to fit between the first two and drilled holes for the bosses. And then welded the mount into the car. Im going to get some 5mm alloy "L" shaped seat brackets waterjet cut then i can bolt the seat in.
